I thought it was a fantastic book, but I is good to read the others first. (The Lightning Thief, Sea of Monsters, The Titans Curse, and The Battle of the Labyrinth.)

In my opinion yes its a good book it has lots of fight scenes a good plot and it introduces the prophecy of 7. The sea of monsters is my least favorite

That depends on what you consider to be a good book.
If you enjoyed the other Percy Jackson books, chances are you'll like it.
