Girls: While arguing, will you shut up or will you explode when a guy says you sound just like his mother?

Me, personally, I would probably feel offended. (However, that depends on how his mother sounds..)

Neither. At some point later I will likely reflect on that statement and the situation to see why he made that remark. If his mother was the condescending, 'because I say so' type, I would realize maybe I am a bit brash. If she's a nag, I would try to refrain from that behavior too. If he associates something negatively with his mother..and myself..well, then he may have issues with 'women' in general. Serious red flag. May be time to consider what this relationship is REALLY ABOUT...and why there's arguing in the first place.

My father taught me to stay cool during arguments as more power that way however I'm a girl and when emotions get in the way I can lose it a little. If I cared about the guy I'd not want to be compared to his mother in that way so I'd tighten my game!

That's a d1ck move saying something like that. My boyfriend always says **** like that cause his mom is kind of a *****. Don't say shet like that.
