What would be the reason to invest in stocks over property, which is insured, cash flows well and consistently, etc. ?

Don't think that happen all across the world affect the stock market, unrelated to the actual profit of the company?

Stocks are easier to invest in and require much less time to acquire and realize gains. Over time, both stocks and property have good return rates and are consistent. Stocks can also be insured.

Many factors go into the value of stock, and the actual profit of the company is one of the factors.

The REASON would be that over long periods of time (~15-20 years), stocks CONSISTENTLY outperform every other kind of investment except "running your own company"...
