Providing feedback to Yahoo that is actually heard by a human? Even if not high in status?
Reading through the Yahoo Answer section and reviewing the part on how Yahoo Answers is community moderated and all that, since higher execs. aren't going to come here and get our feedback: is there any way to make suggestions that actually reach someone who isn't just a member of the community?
E.g. Restore a no answers check box under justification that the point of this site is to be informative and respond to users questions.
E.g. Provide some compatibility with free software such as LaTeX like on Art of Problem Solving, at least for the Science and Mathematics sections so that questions can be easily stated without ambiguity, and answers can be clearly given.

You've been here since April, 2011. I'm surprised you have not heard of the Suggestion Board. It was recently changed to the uservoice forum. You find it by hovering over the gear icon in the upper right corner and clicking on Send Feedback. It sounds like this may be the place to post about these issues. Staff don't respond to all but they do respond to some. You can verify that bu clicking on the Status dropdown menu to see the ones that are gathering feedback, under review, etc.

Unfortunately there is no way to reach anyone. Often it's said to post on uservoice (the only forum to post concerns).
However uservoice is very unpopular and loathed. After the old SB shutdown, there is very little interest or activity on uservoice. Nobody reads anything there.
Thats why users are quitting. No official of Yahoo is ever present for anything.

In the few cases where an actual human appears to have intervened in an appeal, they're usually stupid humans, with a minimal level of literacy and intelligence.

Yahoo doesn't give a ratfuck about the users. As far as Marissa is concerned, we are supposed to just shut up and read the advertisements.
