So I'm doing a little research for a story I'm writing, and I was wondering do birds of prey, specifically big birds, like the golden eagle and the eagle-owl compete for territory and prey or do their territories just overlap?

Birds of prey, also known as raptors hunt and feed on other animals. The term "raptor" is derived from the Latin word rapere(meaning to seize or take by force).
