Bought a tanning bed but all 220v are full?
My breaker box is full and I bought a tanning bed that needs 220v. What is the cheapest way to get this bed running? I measured from current box up and around garage and over and down to room I would say its less then 50 feet.

You may have unused breakers. we call them spares for future use.
You may be able to install another kind of breaker that will free up to adjoining spaces.
Take the cover off and take a picture. Take note of the brand of panel. With luck someone at the Big Box Store will be able to show you which breakers you need to make space.
Tanning beds are rated form 20-30 amps if I remember right. (It's been awhile) So make absolutely sure you get the correct size wire as well as breaker for it.

What i do for my clothes dryer 220 v..I simply plug it into the 220 v box and use only one appliance at a time..No problem. Did you get it hooked up yet?
For 220 v you will need a #10 wire cord if your hooking it up to a tan bed portable style..if you want a permanent hook up, then you could wire up a new 30 amp box with the proper breaker..Pull 220 v off of the line and install it onto the new auxiliary breaker box.

There are breakers that will use one slot but have two breakers on it. you can do this if you use the breaker off of say the dryer it and the bed probably wont run at the same time. another thing to consider is the overall amp rating for the home..
