Help! Insurance question?

Update:

I have insurance now that covers 75% of my doctor bills and 50% of my prescriptions. Is there an insurance company that will sell me a policy to cover my out-of-pocket expenses? Thanks in advance for your help!

Nope. Insurance is designed so that you have a bit of skin in the game. It helps keep you reasonable in the claims you submit.

Yes. It's called a health insurance policy with higher than 75% and 50% coverage. Or, you can also couple your existing coverage with coverage from a company like Colonial Life that'll offset some of your out of pocket expenses under certain scenarios (accident, surgery, hospitalization, etc...).

There is, but just keep in mind that the more they are going to cover, the more you are going to pay for that insurance. Calculate the increased cost of the new insurance, and weigh that against your current policy and your out-of-pocket costs now. You may find that you are paying less in total now than you would with a policy that covers more but costs a lot more.

Why not just get new insurance that has better coverage? That coverage is below average.
