I wanna be a police officer?
So I want to be a police officer, I'm 18 turning 19 in March, I was just wondering is it a good idea if I go back to highschool to upgrade, I have already graduated and have my diploma but I want to get a degree on psychology which I didn't take in highschool, so now I'm deciding to go back and take it and then after I'll go to college and take it further, the reason is when I'm a police officer I'll get hired faster, higher pay, position advancement etc, is my plan a good idea??

A high school class in psych will not help you look better or do better with any hiring board unless it happens to be an AP class where you get college credit.
Most major department require a minimum of 45 to 60 semester hours of college. Very few with just the minimum get in.
You are better off going to a community college and getting some higher education. HS is no longer considered higher ed.

I've never heard of going back to highschool for one class, you should be fine beginning your degree in college without it.
I can't speak to whether more education will be a boon or a hindrance to your desire to become a police officer.
