I can't receive emails on my Mac or my iPhone. Any one else with this problem?
I started getting emails again a few days ago, but stopped receiving them again this morning. Time to switch to gmail?

I'm trying to figure out why all the thousands of emails that I had dated before 2015 aren't showing up anymore.
I've also had problems of new emails not showing up in Mac Mail, but showing up online through the Yahoo Mail interface.
I use IMAP and now wish I was using POP.
I deleted the account from Mac Mail and put it back on again and it still isn't working correctly.
This is a paid account and I have had nothing but problems with Yahoo for the past two years.
Doing a search on the online Yahoo Mail interface for past emails is completely wrecked. I can't find emails.
If I revert back to the older version of Yahoo Mail, I am unable to send attachments.
This is a waste of time, waste of money and is frustrating beyond belief.

I don't have an answer but thought I'd add more fuel to the fire. Sometime Saturday Mac mail client stopped receiving messages, I tried a number of different tricks, and eventually got my messages after deleting the account at least twice and reestablishing in Internet Accounts settings. Thought problem was resolved until this AM and saw I wasn't receiving messages again. Later this evening I thought to check my old windows 7 machine and trying to access through Outlook and lo and behold same problem. Can't seem to find how to contact Yahoo so I wound up here. Any insights would be welcome.

Starting 2 days ago for no apparent reason, I no longer receive Yahoo mails on my Mac (but can send). However, I can still get emails on my iPhone (?!?). I've been cruising the Apple Support site and support groups, noticing a lot of people seem to have this problem. But haven't found any cause or solution. I'm going to try deleting my Yahoo account off my Mac and reinstalling, but would appreciate any insights, especially from Yahoo!!

I"m having the same problem can't access yahoo email on my Mac though my husband has no problem with his account on the same Mac. I'm able to access email on iPad and iPhone no problem. Have deleted and reopen my account it seemed to fix the problem at first but I'm having the same problem again. Worked with apple to try and fix it, they could not help said it's a problem with Yahoo they reccomended to wait for Yahoo to fix it. In the short term I will just access my yahoo mail the old fashion way through the web. That way I can still download files and print whatever I need to.

I too have had this problem since mid-March 2015, and I finally found a workable solution!
THE SOLUTION: use a different email service.
Seriously, Yahoo's mail service is crap. The web interface is crap, the customer service is crap, and the technical functionality is crap. I'm tired of dealing with this on my Mac/iphone every six months. And I'm also incredibly annoyed that their web interface "hides" emails that were sitting in my inbox, such that I can't find them anywhere - it seems they just disappear if they sit in the inbox for too long. I'm tired of their BS.
Just take the 10 minutes to open a Gmail account and auto-forward your mail to that. Google has their s*** together and their stuff actually works. Yahoo is incapable and incompetent.

I have a few yahoo email accounts and only one is not working. The last email I received on that account was 12 Jan. I can't send or receive on that account on both Mac and iPhone

Same here, they're coming through on my iPhone but nothing on my Mac since the 10th. I hadn't changed anything and my Gmail is still coming through to Mac's Mail so not an issue with the Mail client. I have toggled the enable this account switch various times, I have taken the account offline and then back on, I have even repaired preferences on my Mac but nothing is happening. The Quick Fix Tool has 3 times come back saying nothing is wrong.

Same problem here. Have not been able to download my inbox from Yahoo with Mac mail for 4 days now. I switched to a different email client to see if it was a Mac Mail problem and seems like it isn't. My iphone receives just fine but my MacBook and desktop still won't download my inbox. I created another user on my desktop and set up Yahoo from scratch and my mail archives and other folders d/l but not the inbox.
C'mon yahoo, what gives?

I have not been able to receive emails on both my Macbook ( using Mac mail) or I phone for a few days now, but it has not affected my I pad, at least not yet. I am able to send out emails however. Like others, I have tried deleting the account from Macmail and restored it but still not resolved. Is this a Yahoo issue or Apple? How do we get this common problem fixed??
