PT is a graduate degree that takes 3 years. So 7 in total. You do not become a PTA first. The best source of info is www.apta.org. IT should answer all of your questions. Good Luck.

Physical therapy was always a crowded field. Only the best of the best are accepted into this training. It's very specialized and pays very well, so many people are attracted to it.

Physical therapist (PT) professional education refers to the didactic and clinical education that prepares graduates for entry into practice of physical therapy.
So, It's a technical education. you have to study under any college where this discipline is available :)
