Have I Choked On Vomit?

I am 24 and I have acid reflux and I burped and some substance came up and I started coughing really bad, was I choking on my own vomit, will I die?

Update:

I took some water and then that was ok, I have since had a grape which proves I can swallow

    You will not die. You may have aspirated some fliud but if you are healthy then you will cough until it is all expelled. If you continue to cough and get worse, seek medical attention
