Just asking you to leave is not an "eviction". If you agree to go, that's the end of it. Only when you REFUSE to leave are they required to go through the entire eviction process (written notice, court filing, hearing, etc).

So, unless you were given written notice of termination of your tenancy (or whatever notice is required by your state laws) and warned of their intent to obtain a court order to evict, if you stay, then this is not technically a question of "eviction".

Ask around and see if anyone is looking for a roommate. When your young roommates are fun and you save money.

You can probably fix things with your dad. But my feeling is that in the long run your going to move out. I think it's just time.

What sort of help do you think anyone can give ?

Obviously there has to be room for some discussion hasn't there ? What you HAVEN'T disclosed is WHY your father has taken such drastic action. What have you done to provoke this ? Get someone who he will listen to

to mediate on your behalf. And if you HAVE done something to *really* piss him off, then you better promise to change your ways.

You have almost 2 months to find a new place. Best to stop posting statements in Q/A forums, and start looking for a place to live.

If you have no lease, he doesn't even have to give you two months. It isn't eviction, he's just not renting to you anymore. Technically he needs to give written notice, I'd expect that in the mail pretty soon.
