When are the people at Yahoo going to stop "improving" Answers?

If they keep "improving" it, it won't be worth a darn.

The people at Yahoo will "improve" the site until they've destroyed it. As someone else pointed out, this is the Internet and various sites are run by people who are indoctrinated into thinking change is essential. That's not true. Change can be good, and change can be BAD. A successful operator knows which is which. Internet history is littered with forgotten venues and failed operators who did not know which is which. Right now I'd have to say Yahoo is one of those who is lacking that knowledge.

Any improvements don't seem to be obvious and Y!A seems to be no different from normal.

Frequently recurring glitches still seem to require prompting, refreshing or jump starting and sometimes rebooting.

Their site; theirs to do with as they wish. They don't tell us their plans, do they? So we can't say when they will stop making changes. Best guess is - never. Sites are always updating, changing, improving (in their eyes, anyway). Whether or not the users like it. They have to. It is an essential part of the internet. To not change is to stagnate and die. While not all change is good, at least in your eyes, change IS essential.

They have to keep improving it as it has a life of its own.

It is a massive computer program so when one thing is changed it may affect many other parts.

I see it like a giant 'domino's effect', but never ending
