Should I attend a company's cocktail after my interview with them?
I have been invited by a company to the New York job fair ISIP for an interview with the,. I also received a invitation by this company to attend their company's cocktail reception the night that the job fair ends and after my interview would be over.
Should I attend? Are they expecting me to attend to test me more or on contrary it is not ethical and proper to attend a company's cocktail since i am not part of that company yet?

Yes, should. The invitation to the cocktail party is an extension of your interview. They want to see how you handle yourself in social situation. Remember, this is an interview. You are being judge on how you conduct yourself.

If they've invited you, it means they have at least some interest in you. You should go as it would be a good chance to schmooze the management of this company. Just make sure you make a good impression.

I assume from the avatar you are female. You have been invited so go if you want to but DO NOT dress like a two bit whore or the street corner in the red light district. NO short skirts or dresses and no plunging necklines.
