taskbar freezes, network limited connectivity, only works on restart?

Update:

once a day, interent icon in taskbar gets a yellow exclamation point and my net stops working, only a prob on this comp. i just updated every single one of my drivers, its not a virus either, i reformatted and ran malware and virus/spyware.

but when i restart the computer everything works again, maybe for an hour, maybe for a day...but it goes out again, and it freezes, so if i try to click it to disconnect and try again i cant cause its frozen, along with most other taskbar icons freeze too.

Update 2:

all icons in taskbar freezes when net goes out, its not a "wireless range" issue.

Update 3:

again, i already reformatted.

if it works for some time then fails and freezes the taskbar then works on reboot....sounds like a driver issue or the wifi hardware is failing. If you have the latest wifi driver then uninstall it and try a less new driver.

Make sure your not running a proxy....

Do a netstat -a and see what connections your computer is making... now check the services your running...

If you have done any upgrading also would be good to know as it does sound like a system issues... and if you really feel it fine at first then acts up you should reformat... and if same problem occurs then its probably your Network Card... which you can check for about $15 by purchasing a new one...

Is this a Wired or Wireless issue? Make sure this happens on both if not... it must be an adapter issue...

AGAIN........... change your network card then.

You are at the edge of your wireless range. Move nearer and stay there long enough to prove this after a fresh restart.. Also, click on your connection on the taskbar and view the strength bars.
