What should I do?
Hello, my husband and I just got married not too long ago. The house is a mess and we plan on starting remodeling this month. I'm looking forward to all the things we are going to do but am scared we will never even start. We are both busy and I fear we will keep putting it off. I don't want this to get in the way of our marriage or put a stain on it. Any advice or help?

Make a plan, make a budget, make a time-line when each aspect needs to be accomplished. On Saturday you accomplish X. In the evenings you accomplish Y. Having a plan and setting goals will make the task easier. Just don't make it the only focus, and know when to step away and take a break.
If you can afford it, get a reliable handyperson or contractor to help. If you're not experienced, remodeling can be daunting, and lead to fights. With someone to advise and guide, it can make the task easier and ease tensions. Sometimes tackling remodeling projects yourself is penny wise and pound foolish. Get friends and family to help.
