Is Prozac a mild or high anti depressant?
I'm taking 20 mg and I am being forced too. Is it a strong one?

There is no such thing as a strong or weak antidepressant. If they are on the market they meet FDA standards for efficacy. They work differently in different people. The main difference between them is in the side effect profiles. Prozac has a relatively benign set of side effects so most people tolerate it without problems. Generally the side effects that do occur happen in the first 2 weeks then fade away. If you are not tolerating it by the 2 week point be sure and tell your doctor. Give them a chance to try other things that might be easier for you to live with.
20mg of Prozac once a day is a pretty standard dose. Sometimes they start it at 10mg for a few days then go up. 40mg is about as high as they will usually go before deciding to try something different.
Please don't let people like Robert and his "facts" push you into not giving your doctor's advice the credence it should have. There is a lot of propaganda out there on the evils of taking psychiatric medicine. Especially noted is the number of prescriptions that are filled every year and it is a lot. Keep in mind that people would not be filling the prescriptions and taking the medicines if they didn't help!

Don't take anti depressants. I might sound crazy, but it is a scheme for drug companies to make a lots of money…lots and lots of money for a long time. It forces you to become dependent on them by changing your brain chemistry to rely on them. Find an alternative to anti-depressants like exercising and meditating. It will affect your thinking (brain fog), your sex life (unable to enjoy it), and much much more!
