"Happy Birthday" in druid language?
Hello, my friend is a fan of the tv series Merlin and I'd like to tell him "happy birthday" in a special way, related to Merlin's spells or druids. Do you know any proper expressions in celtic, or whatever?

Merlin, however, is based on Myrddin, a historical figure. Actually a combination of several. He (they) were Welsh. In Welsh, "Happy Birthday" is "Pen Blwydd Hapus".
A less traditional way of saying it is, "I yn gobeithio eich bod yn byw flynyddoedd lawer". It's not exactly phonetic, though.
It roughly means, "I hope you live many more years", in the masculine.
Many people today still speak Welsh, after the English tried to suppress it for centuries, and it's about the same as it was a couple hundred years ago.
I hope that helps!

The Arthurian legends were set in post-Norman England. The druids had been extinct for 500 years or more at that stage and the language of the court was French while the people spoke Middle English.

Try gaelic. I KNOW I`d seen a yahoo post about happy birthdays in that language.
