Why is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware a 32-bit program?
After I installed the latest version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from www.malwarebytes.org, I check Windows Task Manager and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is running 32-bit (without a setting to change 32-bit to 64-bit). I know 64-bit programs and computers are faster and higher performance than 32-bit programs and computers.

Well much of it has to do with the fact that for Windows all software that requires a driver must use a signed driver. That costs money to obtain and many software applications are written by independent developers and I'm sure the cost vs need is not there for them. If your code is not taking advantage of any of the features of x64 then coding it x64 might not make sense either.
As I said when or if we'll make a GUI purely x64 is unknown at this time, but the driver is a signed x64-bit driver. Thank you again "

It is so that it will run on both 32 bit and 64 bit computers.
32 bit can run on 32 bit or 64 bit. But 64 bit can only run on 64 bit.
