What is a good anti-spam algorithm, technology, or design?

Lately I am developing many new security technologies (as well as set up a Yahoo Group and Google+ community to share security technology ideas), and designing an anti-spam technology is more difficult than designing scanning and firewall technologies. What is a good anti-spam algorithm, technology, or design (all details are welcome)?

Update:

Anti-spam and anti-phishing. I would like an algorithm, technology, or design that is not anyhow related to signatures.

Update 2:

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I do not develop or program security technologies now. I am currently developing beta security ideas and would like public ideas.

Update 3:

What is a good anti-spam algorithm, technology, or design that does not require users reporting spam and not spam or signatures for accuracy?

You can look at the code for spamassassin, and maybe Razor.

SA uses short pattern matching, blacklist lookups, and bayesian scoring. Also various plugins including Razor. Razor uses a fuzzy fingerprinting algorithm to try and identify the body of the message. Spam databases may be populated by users clicking "this is spam", or by spamtraps, or bayesianalgorithms. Either has problems with false positives.
