I have an iphone 5s and my sister has a galaxy phone powered by android. Each time she sends me a picture I dont receive anything.?

Update:

I wait a couple minutes and nothing. Then randomly the NEXT DAY I get the picture once or it is received multiple times. It happens often. What should i do to fix this problem or is there something i can do in the setting of my phone? Thank You!

    Your sister has a phone based on Industry Standards, you have an iPhone. If you want interoperability don't buy Apple!
