why is asking questions a violation of Y!A rules?

I asked why my question was reported, but than that question got reported. But Y!A's doesn't let people abuse reporting or bully others. So seeing as that's true, what rule did it violate?

P.S. I'm not going away.

It is not a violation to ask why your previous question was a violation - but that doesn't stop somebody reporting it as a violation.

It isn't a violation to ask why a question was reported.

There are exceptions. One is when it's a clear tactic to repeat-post a violation. For instance, someone posts a libellous rant about a public figure or an attack on another user, which is deleted. Then they post a question asking "Why was the following deleted?" and use it to repost the offending material.

Another possibility is if the question is framed too strongly as a complaint, rather than knowledge-seeking. That can push it over into rant violation. For instance, "Why did the cowardly Nazi report monkeys of Y!A delete my question?" would be a rant.

It's not a violation, BUT, you asked a question, received 3 correct answers, then proceeded to comment several times that you are being abused and bullied.

Asking questions that violate the guidelines, then being reported for that, is not abuse and is not bullying.

If you can't follow the rules that YOU agreed to when you signed up to use the forum, then maybe the forum is not the place for you.

The question wasn't the violation, the violation came in the comments you added to the question because you didn't agree with the correct answers you received. But if you don't agree, you are free to appeal the decision by using the link. Customer Care will make the final decision.
