Will I get a DUI?
Let's just say I made a bad decision and was under the influence of a drug that rendered me unconscious while driving causing me to wreck my car no one was hurt or anything. I was taken to the hospital and released the next day, about a month later I recived papers saying that I needed to retake both my written and driving test but I cannot take the driving test until I release my medical records to the dmv which show results of drugs being in my system. What is the best way for me to go about this? Talk to a lawyer first? Give the dmv permission to look at my medical records? I'm 19 and honestly just made a really stupid mistake! Will my license get suspended or what could or would happen? Please no ugly comments! Just looking for answers

Might depend on where you are in the world, and exactly what drugs are involved. We also don't know on this end what your medical records actually say.
You should probably contact a local attorney to discuss things in more depth.

Talk to a lawyer, Find one who does not charge for an initial consultation.
You can do this by calling your county bar association. , Explain your problem, and ask for their recommendation.'
