My Motorcycle Wont start?

I have a 2012 Triumph Speedmaster which was preciously owned by my father. He oddly kept it out on the beach. So i drove it from his location to mine (30 Miles) No problem. So then when i go out to start it again a week after, I turn the key, the lights come on. Then press the ignition button, The motorcycle just Clicks and the Low oil Pressure light comes on. The oil level is fine. And it has 1700 Total Miles on it. What could this be?

Almost definitely the battery has discharged sufficiently to prevent the engine turning.

Some Triumph models react very badly to being started on a weak battery, if a charger does not bring the battery up to at least 12.4 volts then your best/cheapest option is to get a new one.

However, that might not be your only problem – salt corrodes.

Charge the battery, after it starts go for a L-O-N-G rde or take the battery to a shop that can do a 'load-test'.

And clean the battery terminals and terminal wire connections.

The 'beach' may have also corroded the ground-wire to the frame.
