Mass of oxygen in oxide = 29.18 - 22.31 = 6.87g
Divide each mass by respective atomic mass :
Cr = 22.31/52 = 0.429
O = 6.87/16 = 0.429
Mol ratio of Cr : O = 1:1
Empirical formula = CrO.
