Filing my 2014 taxes, do I have to report my daughter s 1098-T if we are not claiming any educational credits?

Update:

Her tuition costs were covered by her Pell Grant.

There would be nothing to report on your tax return, so the answer to your question is no.

On a related note, however, your daughter may have taxable income from scholarships and grants. If the amount of scholarships/grants on the 1098-T are higher than the qualified expenses on the 1098-T, she may have to file a return.

You might get many answers but you need to contact a professional. We can all give answers, half right and half wrong. Depending on the money involved I would contact at least an enrolled agent. Do not count on the supposed experts, you understand what companies I'm referring to.
