No Liverpool and Manchester United are not small clubs. Both teams, although they haven't been playing as well as a team of that standard SHOULD be in recent years (Man U placing seventh last season and Liverpool placing outside of a champions league for multiple seasons in recent years.) They're the two most successful clubs in English football history, and just because they've both been suffering in recent seasons, that doesn't make them a small club.

Liverpool should go after Miroslav Klose in a trade with Lazio and Balotelli.
The goals would come immediately.
He is playing right and has an assist and a goal against AC Milan.
He doesn't blow his chances like the Reds front men.
