Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao chat briefly at NBA game Heat vs Buck. What are your thoughts?

I hope this brings positive results. I can sense that Floyd wanted to eliminate Bob Arum but it very unlikely that Pacquiao can do it without violating his contract with TR. Pacquiao can not negotiate by himself unless Bob allowed him to do so which is again very unlikely. This casual meeting doesn't mean much as far as I know and Floyd should just negotiate his part through somebody if he doesn't want to deal with Arum. Espinosa can do it for him like what Bob did before when he let the HBO executive do it in behalf of TR. I can not think of anything else except have the negotiation handle by somebody since GBP can no longer do it for Floyd and this if Floyd really want the fight to happen otherwise brace for another blaming games.

Don't believe it 'til it happens. I'm just tired of the BS and excuses. Manny needs to proceed and fight Amir. Floyd is scared that he's going to lose and have his record blemished. Floyd is worried because Manny isn't intimidated like a few past fighters have been. I feel Floyd can be beat but his opponent has to meet tact with tact and leave the emotions at home. Honestly, I want Zab Judah to dance with Floyd again because too much emotion was involved in that fight long ago.

Both are NBA fans, and meeting casually at a game doesn't mean anything. Tyson met Foreman is an example. Just because they meet doesn't mean a fight will happen. If it does, it will not have the same spark and aura it once had. Two over the hill guys fighting in a corrupted city with everything in favor of a protected African (he is not American imo) boxer. It mirrors srl vs hagler. Everybody knows srl was scared of hagler so he waited until he got old, tricked hagler, got everything in his favor, and won a highly controversial fight without giving a rematch because he knows he won't beat an angry prepared Hagler. Something similar will probably happen except pac will get a rematch and clearly lose unless he repeats what works and also makes some adjustments. Basically, avoid Maidana and JLC rematch flaws. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

As stated before....the 40 split for Manny still makes him millions, the ring size doesn't matter IMO. Mayweather wears his orthopedic foam padded GRANT gloves and Manny wears his usual REYES gloves, only Floyd will demand 10 oz. Arum IMO is the culprit in all these delayed negotiations

Another propaganda to boost Floyd's image, to make it look like he is doing what he can to make the fight happen. But, unless Floyd was able to convince Manny to drop when he tells him to, this fight will never take place.

pac said on tv they had a serious chat inside the room... everything went ok regarding the fight its almost a done deal all we have to do is wait for the contract

NOOOO... floyd keeps on talkin to pac...pac who is still under contract w/ arum, I still can see floyd using his issues w/ arum to duck the fight...lol

Simple. Floyd Mayweather is just afraid of taking the risk of breaking his undefeated boxing career.

Floyd is scared of Manny.

The promotion for the fight has already begun. That's exactly what this was. It's no coincidence that they ended up in the same building seated directly across from one another. They even flashed both of them on the big screen with "2015?" on there. I expect the announcement very soon.

At this point, even now, I wouldn't personally be concerned about them fighting now, it doesn't have the feel that it could have 6 years ago.But if they can work it out, which I think they probably could, it's great for them.
