Can I have a 2 gallon aquarium tank for 1 snail?

I have decided that I want a snail. I was wondering if a 2 gallon tank is to small for a snail. Considering, that they aren't very active critters.

    A 2G aquarium will be ok for 1 Nerite Snail, you still need a filter though.
