Why does Y!A allow anonymous posters to block people without any indication?

I can compose a lengthy reply and hit submit only for nothing to happen. I am assuming that this is because the questioner has blocked me. Before Y!A allowed trolls to post anonymously, at least we could see that we were blocked, but the Yamster seems to want to do everything he can to aid trolls now.

If you can compose the answer, you are NOT blocked. If you are blocked, the "Add your answer" box does not even appear when you go into the question; not sure WHAT it does for the in-line answering, as I'm not blocked by all that many users, so I don't run into it much. So rather than using the "in line" answer box, be sure to open the question first to avoid wasting time.

Other things may prevent an answer from posting immediately. There may be simultaneous postings happening, or a momentary glitch. If my Submit doesn't work, I just COPY my answer, refresh the page, paste my answer, click Submit again - and that works every time. Give that a try.
