Price difference on Chevy Silverado and Colorado 4x4?

Does anyone have any idea why adding the 4 wheel drive option on a Colorado (the smaller truck) costs MORE than adding 4 wheel on the Full size Silverado?

It costs an additional $7k on the Colorado and only about $4k for Silverado.

Is there a particular reason that anyone is aware of?

    to be honest, didnt really care but pretty sure the cost of the vehicle is more for the Silverado
