what will happen if there are no more trees left in the planet?

    No more wood products? ~75% of oxygen is produced by algae, phytoplankton, and marine plants. Non-tree plants produce another 10%. Trees produce perhaps 10-15% of our oxygen.

    Erosion would get worse. Mass-extinctions would follow, because of loss of forest habitat. And forests are a good medium-duration carbon sink.
