What is the minimum age a child should be to climb with parents up Mt. Fuji?
I have heard it's an easy climb, but reading up on it before our trip, it seems it might be unsuitable for children. Anyone here familiar with Mt. Fuji who can advise?
3 AnswersClimbing5 years agoWhat does it mean to "look a gift horse in the mouth"?
I know what it references, I'm curious about the metaphor. Why does looking a horse at the mouth imply questioning it?
8 AnswersWords & Wordplay6 years agoThe show Cheaters- are people really allowed to put cameras in your home?
Seems like that would be illegal, right? They put cameras in their homes and have filmed people who have not consented having sex and they air it? Cheating is bad but that's still messed up.
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoWhat song is this?
It's a male voice and it goes "I love you, I love you, I love you," and then I THINK he says, "and where you go I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow." That's all I can remember though. Helllppp.
1 AnswerLyrics6 years agoWhy do I keep seeing commercials to donate to wounded veterans?
Don t get me wrong it s a good cause but um why isn t the government already taking care of these people? If a soldier gets a serious injury during their line of duty how come the government has not paid for their rehabilitation?
3 AnswersCurrent Events6 years agoWhat would you do? Religion and your children?
My parents are I guess Catholic but we never went to church and they never talked about it when we were growing up. As a result I was able to choose and follow whatever I felt was right, and I want my son to have that too. Currently I'm agnostic, and in my mom's older age she's becoming increasingly religious. She has started talking about ghosts and heaven and creepy things like she suggests my son is watching the ghost of my dead grandmother when he's laughing at the ceiling, etc. It bothers me and I told her I'm not raising him with religion, I'll just teach him if he asks and take him to church if he asks. She disagreed but in the sense "you're wrong, I'm going to tell him what I believe." She's already violated a lot of my rules- she pulled off his cord when he was just two weeks old, she scratched off his cradle cap and his head was raw and sore, she even fed him food when he was only three months old when I told her the plan was to wait for 6 months. I'm at the point where I don't trust her around my son at all.

1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality6 years agoBaby drank an old bottle, what should I do?
I let my parents babysit and they left half eaten bottles laying around. I usually have a system so I got confused and I grabbed the wrong one rather than the fresh one I'd just made. What should I do? Will my baby be okay? I just realized my mistake since I'm cleaning house and he's been asleep for a few hours.
2 AnswersNewborn & Baby6 years agoWhat were the names in the Bible changed from?
I was reading about the etymology of Biblical names but I lost the link. It was listing all of the names before they were changed, like how we got to John from whatever the original Hebrew name was. Thanks!

What year would you relive and why? *In this time, you can live your life differently from what you know except for things like the lottery*

5 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 years agoDo you think it's fair that 'Lucifer' is on the banned baby name list?
What if someone likes the name and they are atheist? Or what if they are Satanic? Isn't that discrimination since other people of faith can name their children things like Jesus and Paul?
I'm playing devil's advocate. Pun intended.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoIs it judgmental or sound to criticize large families?
There's a debate on a Baby Center post right now and I'm curious for Y!A opinions. I believe in the post a woman has like 13 or so kids. Some are arguing it's irresponsible, others are saying that it's rude to butt into other people's lives (that's the gist of it). Thoughts?
1 AnswerSociology7 years agoWhat should I dress as if my baby is going to be a monkey?
What are some cute mom/baby ideas? All I've thought of is I can be the "man" in the yellow hat.
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby7 years agoMen of GS, how do you feel about voyeurism?
I'm just genuinely curious. It's basically taking video or pictures of (mostly) women and often putting it up on a website. I had no idea this existed until today, someone showed me a website and I was pretty disturbed. I wanted to find those women and tell them.
1 AnswerLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender7 years agoIf you send someone a message then block them on Facebook?
Will they be able to reply? Because I remember it happened quite a few years ago, has that changed?
1 AnswerFacebook7 years agoWhat's the statute of limitations for drug use?
Someone is stalking me and threatening me. I saved their Facebook messages, and want to show it to police because I fear for the safety of myself and my child. The only problem is, we talked about drugs in the messages a year ago (I quit when I was pregnant, wouldn't mind if they tested me now to be sure because I'm clean, even went through a drug counselor). I don't know what to do.
5 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoShould I call the police?
My ex bf has sent me threatening messages in which he says he has footage of me from a hidden cam in his place and that he's going to upload it online to spite me. I know it's illegal but I'm wondering do I have to get a lawyer or should just calling the police be sufficient?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoTV: Outlander, what's with all the rape?
I've seen Claire almost get raped more than I've seen her have consentual sex. I get the time frame and everything but it just seems excessive, like the director enjoys watching her get her clothes torn off and held down. I never read the books so I can't compare, does she get raped in like every chapter? It's ridiculous.
4 AnswersDrama7 years agoWhere can I watch season 1 of Grey's Anatomy?
The site I typically use has been lousy with viruses lately. I'm not that confident in my virus protection to keep risking it lmao.
