Do you think it's fair that 'Lucifer' is on the banned baby name list?

What if someone likes the name and they are atheist? Or what if they are Satanic? Isn't that discrimination since other people of faith can name their children things like Jesus and Paul?

I'm playing devil's advocate. Pun intended.

It's extraordinarily hypocritical, banning a name but allowing parents to teach their children all kinds of emotionally scarring nonsense.

The Bible doesn't even say that Satan is Lucifer.

By the way, someone tried to name their kid Messiah and a judge stopped them.

Doesn't matter as it was a descriptive word for a real man, Nebuchadnezzar

    It's fair to the children!

Yes, it is discrimination - but a type of discrimination that **protects children**.

I don't know where you live, but in the US there is no "banned baby name list." You can name your child almost anything you like.
