Can a man court marry you, have a child and at the same time not want to be with you for rest of your life; hope for someone else?

We have been marrried only for a year. We got pregnant soon after our engagement. I had traumatic childbirth. He was supportive for the first month but last 2 months he does things only for the sake of it...like he internally resents me.

    Maybe he does. Have you actually asked him about how he feels and what's going on with him? Incidentally, you were not the only one who had a traumatic childbirth. He went through trauma with that event as well, watching you and your child go through it, and he may carry emotional baggage from that event as well. You have to realize that he is involved here too.
