I want to buy a gun and I have a medical marihuana card?

My card will be expiring soon, and I don't plan on renewing it, is it still possible for me to purchase a fire arm and a concealed carry after the card is expired will I get approval

    Check your state law, but it doesn't really make sense to deny the purchase of a firearm to someone who smokes pot. It is pretty difficult to come up with any example of a person becoming violent just because they have smoked or ingested marijuana.
