I bought a Ninja a year and a half ago because the Vitamix is three times as expensive. So, I can burn up three ninjas, which I think will take longer than it will to trash the Vitamix.

Caviat: I don't juice with the blender/food processor. I use a Breville Juice Fountain for that. But I do make cookie doughs in the Ninja Food Processor, and it works really great. You just dump in all the ingredients, turn it on, and in a few minutes you have perfect dough - just refrigerate and bake the next day. I've never tried to make soup with it because I like chunks and shreds in my soup. Besides, I can heat stuff faster in the 'wave.
