I've had a few coffees and smoked half cigarette (stopped because I'm really dizzy) is there a cure? Water? Fresh air? Paracetamol? Or wait it goes? How long does it last?

both these responses are idiotic with judgmental overtones. I mean someone is asking for serious relief from a problem that is happening at the moment, solutions that can be found and applied quickly. they didn't ask for some asshole to tell them to quit smoking. and the fact that all you have to say is stop smoking is ignorant. like if you don't have any relevant helpful advice don't post, don't waste their time and energy on something that doesn't need to be said in the first place. assholes.

with that said the best thing to do is apply a cold compress, and take some pain killers (liquid gels work best) also to stay hydrated so your body can release some of the toxins and return to a state of homeostasis.

Yes, that used to happen to me as well. Now I make sure I don't go anywhere near a smoker. Cigarette smoke is full of poisons and it depletes the oxygen that you are getting. So get away from the smokers and drink lots of water.
