what should i do about my job. I work as a chef for a company called Road Chef. I only had the job for four months.?
I have interviews for various other jobs, in a couple weeks. I've applied for better sales type work and Administration jobs. I've got four interviews, this week and next week.
The thing is with my current job, is my manager is an annoying idiot. If I share jokes and try to have fun with the customers. She will tell me to cut it out. I've tried really hard to ignore her. She complains about my cooking as well. She's not a supportive manager. I've told her to stop complaining
I've told her, If you complain about my work every week or every other week, you're burning bridges by doing that. She's told me a few times, that I'm not upto the job. I'm not being trained or anything. I don't have a lot of experience with cooking anyway. I can cook a little bit. I would say my cooking skills are above average. I'm enjoying on my own merits and there's a small team that works here. I've never received complaints from customers either.
I don't go to my manager for support or advice anyway. I don't like her, I don't trust her and I don't like her attitude. I just go to her, to pick up my daily duties and get on with my work. I don't even talk to her, that much, when I report to her.

You need to leave. You are not a trained Chef with qualifications and should never have been employed there.
Chefs have years of experience and are trained in food regulations and health & hygiene. Cooking 'a little bit' is not good enough.
Either get yourself some proper training, or try something different.
