Is there a reason for Yami Bakuras hair getting more and more 'crazy' as the yu-gi-oh series goes on?
How did it go from "just slightly more wild than Ryous" to "I HAVE MOTHERFUCKIN BAT WINGS ON MY HEAD" xD was there a deliberate reason for it? or did the animators just get a bit bored?

Well, to be fair, this IS Yu-Gi-Oh! we're talking about here. I guess the closer Bakura got to being a main character, the more his hair started wanting to defy gravity. I mean, look at Yugi's hair - his hair didn't give a flying f*ck about physics since the start of the series.

Probably when he got more main.
But a lot of anime is like that in some hair styles. Just like color, nobody in life would have pink hair, blue hair, green hair, red hair etc unless you decided to dye it.
Yugi's hair is the same, it wouldn't work in real life but it can in a show
