Does anyone else remember this spooky story?
When I was younger (think at least 10 years ago) m and my friends used to love tell creepy stories to each other... one of our favourites to tell was about a woman who somehow had a baby born with a golden leg, she cut off the leg and the baby died. Later on the baby came back and murdered the mother...
I've been able to find other stories online that my friends and I used to tell, such as 'Molly Dolly'... apparently it's a creepypasta? :O I didn't have the internet back then so I was wondering if the story described above was also a creepypasta? And if yes what was it called? Does anyone else remember this? Or was it just some absurd thing me and my friends thought up??
3 AnswersMythology & Folklore5 years agoShould I carry on learning Korean OR Japanese?
I started learning both but I ve run into a problem...
It s so much easier to read/write in Korean, but I ve been able to speak more Japanese...
So I can SPEAK Japanese better...but I can READ/WRITE Korean better.

1 AnswerMovies6 years agoIs my villain believable?
I am writing a novel...I'm still on the first draft so nothing is set in stone and now would probably be the best time to change things ^_^
He was born into a rich family, who made their wealth in actually very honest ways. All this wealth meant that this guy always had whatever he wanted. He never had to work for anything he never earned anything... this made his outlook on life somewhat screwed. He was so used to being 'better' than other people around him that he began to think of these 'lesser people' as disposable pawns to use to get what he wanted.
When he got older he inherited the families company, gaining him even more power and pushing him further away from 'reality' and decency.
Since he has everything he wants, and can get anything he will want he quickly grows bored. To rid himself of this boredom he starts doing darker, and more evil things. A lot of people end up dying simply so he is entertained for a short period of time...and eventually his pursuit of more power, more entertainment, brings about the almost total destruction of the country.
He starts a war essentially and to him THIS IS OK. It's ok because HE has the power HE is the one in charge, if the people don't like it then they would simply stop him, right? Or at least that's how he see's it...
In short, he's a screwed up guy who craves more and more power and destruction to keep him satisfied.
8 AnswersBooks & Authors6 years agoI got baking soda in my eye?
SO I was trying to lighten my hair without using bleach, and I heard mixing baking soda with shampoo was a safer alternative.... and yeah it was safer for my hair but a bit dripped into my eye and it burned like a raging forest fire o.o
I rinsed it out and it's stopped hurting now, but it still feels a bit funny...
Do I NEED to go to the doctors, or is it safe to assume i'm fine?
1 AnswerOptical6 years agoDo the majority of americans have a religion?
It's just I've been watching videos by american atheists on youtube and they ALLLLL say that the atheists are a TINY minority... Anddd thats strange to me. I'm from the UK and it's nothing like that here... in my year group in school there were about 90 of us there, and not one person in the year had a religion... and it was mostly like that throughout the whole school and throughout the community in general.
Most everyone I speak to from the uk is an open atheist, or they just don't really care about what their religion is...
So are atheists REALLY the minority over there in america? Is religion a huge deal? If so, why?
I find it so strange to think I would be 'abnormal' over though ahaha o.o
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoPolychromos vs Prismacolor?
I'm looking to get a new set of pencils but I'm unsure of which brand to buy (i've always used derwent before but wanna 'upgrade')
I'm kind of leaning towards prismacolor right now since there are more colours available and apparently they are 'smoother' and I have even seen them described as 'buttery' :P
So which are better?
3 AnswersDrawing & Illustration6 years agoShould I get a second cat to keep my current cat company?
You see... I have a cat, about 1 year old, and he recently had a tail injury...before this my mother INSISTED and would physically take him off me to put him outside, luckily now she see's that was a stupid idea and has agreed to him being an indoor only cat... And yeah that's great cause no more risk of explainable injuries from the outside world... but he was a very sociable cat when he was out... particularly him and this male tabby cat (they would curl up on the shed roof together, play with each other, etc) and also my neighbors cat.
Although I am happy he will be inside I feel sad he wont have another cat to play with anymore :/ I mean I play with him but idk...
He is such a lovely and affectionate cat who seems to crave attention from both people and other cats, but then it might be different if a cat comes INTO HIS HOME right?
I don't know what to do for the best, my vet did say he may benefit from having company of another young cat or kitten since he was so sociable but did also mention it may not work out.
What would you guys do in this situation? And if you WOULD get a second cat in this instance, would you get a kitten or a cat around his age?
thank you ~
3 AnswersCats6 years agoMy cat broke its tail in two places?
So my cat broke his tail in two places somehow, about 1 inch from the base and 1 inch from the tip, aaannnddd the vet said if he is unable to regain use of it (like...lift it up again) then he would need to have it amputated cause obviously having a long appendage you have no control of hanging behind you 24/7 is a bit...risky.
Well it's only been about 4 days and he can already lift the tail at the base mostly, but he can't lift the end. I think the problem is since his tail is so damn long (seriously his tail makes up more than half his length..even the vets were like "WOAH") it's too heavy for him to pick it up while he is still sore. But Idk, I'm not the vet ^_^
SO anyway, what will have to happen if at the end of the suggested recovery time of 3 months he still cant lift then end but he can lift the base will they amputate the whole tail like they thought they would have to? or just up to the second break?

1 AnswerDrawing & Illustration6 years agoI bought a new leo gecko and his poop has sand in it?
The place I got him from is supposed to be a reputable reptile shop, though I am doubting their actual credibility now... First of all one of the people couldnt begin to guess at this geckos sex so he got someone else who said the gecko was female, I was quick to point out he was wrong since was CLEARLY male no doubt about that, and he them proceeded to tell me it wasnt possible to tell until the gecko was 2 years old O_O...noo..nooooo. I also noticed the leos were kept on sand but I was quickly reasured that they weren't fed on there, nor kept on it all the time (apparently they moved them when the shop closed)
Well that was two days ago, and things seem fine...no shocking or worrying behavior from the gecko, he's pretty timid at the moment but I guess thats to be expected... But I was checking his poop ( I know that sounds weird... But it pays to check! you can tell a lot from an animals poop) and there was sand in his poop!
He isnt impacted luckily since he IS pooping, but what should I do to help get the rest of the poop out of his system quickly??

Temporary Beauty
I carefully traced the final line of my intricate design into the sand, the soft surface giving way easily under my gentle touch, before standing back to admire its beauty before the waves decided to wash it away. I smiled.
“Perfect.” I said, admiring the shadows the moonlight added to my piece, I picked up my camera from around my neck, carefully adjusting the lens to best capture my image. I photographed my work from tonight, not wanting to forget the temporary beauty etched into the sandy ground.
Another smile left my lips as I began to lose myself in my own imagination once again. I began another piece, overwhelmed by the success of the previous, I lost myself. I don't know why but art, had this effect on me... I would often get so captivated and lost in thought, I could draw for hours without noticing a minute go by. It's like an entirely different world where I can just float aimlessly in the sky, listening to the soothing sound of a gentle breeze through the trees, and the soft lapping of waves on the shore...so far below my cloud residence.
“Hey Sara!” A male voice shouted, breaking me out of my dream like trance.
I sighed and looked to the ground, unhappy that my peace had been disturbed so soon.
“What is it Jamie?” I asked pointlessly as sped towards me... I knew exactly why he was here. He was because -
3 AnswersBooks & Authors6 years ago"Wait...The main character dies?"?
...Is a question I get asked a lot when people read my story, resulting in two types of reactions, some find it interesting and see how it's necessary to the plot... and then the people who are just there like "NO. YOU CANNOT. YOU JUST CANNOT! NO."
The people that fall into the latter category have it ingrained into their brains that a character of importance just cannot die, they can be the only one, no one else in the story matters, and that without that person the story is simply over...
But since it is that characters death is like a pinpoint event that triggers other significant events in the story, I always defend the importance of this death in the story... but the people who believe in main character immunity are getting to me lately...
Should I give in and change it so he lives? Or do I stick to my plans and keep it how it is?
