Does it sound like I am lactose intolerant?

for the past 9 months or so whenever I have drank milk I have been overcome by horrible gas or horrible stomach aches, and sometimes both.... Thing is this is a recent thing O-o Since I was littler I would drink milk every day and never did I have these symptoms before...

Also I can eat icecream and cheese without getting any of these symptoms, which just adds to my confusion xD

So what do you think?

You could be mildly lactose intolerant. Being lactose intolerant means your body doesn't make the enzyme to digest lactose. When it's mild you might not notice if you consume dairy with other foods. Usually lactose intolerance is from birth. Dairy can cause acid reflux which can make you feel gassy and bloaty.

I have both. I can eat cheese since it has less lactose than milk. Ice cream is a no go for me. I would ask your doctor. Try drinking lactose free milk. Lactaid tastes just like regular milk. Soy milk is good too but it does taste a little different.

it does seem like it. I'm allergic to milk (not lactose intolerant. I HATE when people dont know the difference lol) but I eat some foods with milk in them and im usually ok (like lays chips)
