Should I carry on learning Korean OR Japanese?
I started learning both but I ve run into a problem...
It s so much easier to read/write in Korean, but I ve been able to speak more Japanese...
So I can SPEAK Japanese better...but I can READ/WRITE Korean better.
Should I focus on just one at a time? If so, which should I continue with at the moment ?

i am learning Korean now and plan to learn Japanese later...
in my opinion it would be best to focus on one at a time.
if you know how to read/write Korean better i would focus on it...because speaking can always be improved by speaking with people who know the language
like i am better and speaking Korean than i am reading/writing it
it really depends on you though and if you want to spend your time learning to pronounce things better(which can be done easily by talking to people who can speak it)
or spending time learning how to read/write better which in my opinion would be more textbook kind of thing
maybe i helped a lil haha

I had the same exact problem. I find Japanese alot more fun to learn (kanji not included) but korean is so much easier to read. I would choose Japanese. Japan is a big player in the world and japanese is more spoken than korean. Grammar is a tad bit easier and pronunciation is a sinch.

I think you should think about your goals, why do you want to learn either? If you want to learn korean to work in Korea, it s going to be difficult finding a job there as foreigners aren t allowed to be teachers there and it s difficult to get a job in a korean business. The upside is korean is easier to learn how to read and write. With Japanese, it s not as easy to read and write but foreigner racism is pretty low and there are job opportunities everywhere for foreigners. Kanji isn t that difficult either, according to Jappleng it s all about learning radicals which there are less than 200 of, and once you learn those you can learn any kanji you want really fast.
It s up to you, either way it s fun to learn a new language.
