I'm a college student in the U.S and she is an exchange student from Australia. We met in class and always walk and talk with each other to and from class. I recently got her number, and we've texted some. She usually texts back, but I always have to initiate the texts. However she will initiate conversation in person. I want to get to know her better, but it's hard only seeing her twice a week, and I don't know her schedule. I have a huge crush on her, and I really just want to hang out with her 1 on 1 and see if that can lead to a date. She always smiles when we talk, but I don't know if she is shy over text or if she is busy, or if she just don't like to text. How can I get her to spend time with me?

If I were you, I would ask her to go for coffee or something casual at first. Just be cool about it, don't initiate that you want her to go on a date with you. If she says yes, then you have yourself a chance. Once you've went for coffee, try to make her laugh and smile but don't be too clingy/pushy. If you succeed that, she's yours dude. Good luck!

Look, no matter how stupid or weird or odd you sound, if she likes you, she'll say yes no matter what. People are soo wussy about getting rejected, who knows why.

She clearly likes you, so go for it lol. Just say 'hey, I've got X-box at my house, if you're free this weekend come over and play, I get bored by myself sometimes and it'd be fun to play with someone' or 'hey, this event is happening, come with me, I'd love if it you came, wouldn't wanna go alone'
