How Can I Get A Date With This Girl?
I'm a college student in the U.S and she is an exchange student from Australia. We met in class and always walk and talk with each other to and from class. I recently got her number, and we've texted some. She usually texts back, but I always have to initiate the texts. However she will initiate conversation in person. I want to get to know her better, but it's hard only seeing her twice a week, and I don't know her schedule. I have a huge crush on her, and I really just want to hang out with her 1 on 1 and see if that can lead to a date. She always smiles when we talk, but I don't know if she is shy over text or if she is busy, or if she just don't like to text. How can I get her to spend time with me?

She's not responding to your text - either because she isn't interested in you, or because she considers texting to be too much of a chore. You shouldn't be texting or calling her anyway (except to discuss the logistics of your next date). Once you make a date stop bothering her. She'll reach out to you if she needs to, but don't try to initiate any communication in the mean time. Save it for the actual date.
