What year is it in Israel? This is 2015. Is it also 2015 in Israel?
It is 2015 in America. Is it also 2015 in Israel? Some people think that Israel is a year or two behind America, that it is still 2013 or 2014. I just wanted to clarify to make sure if that was true or not. Thank you for your help.

It's 2015 all over the world. At least, it is in Israel as well since they use the Gregorian calendar.
Actually, for a few hours and depending where you are in the United States, Israel is sometimes in the next year because it turns January 1st before the the US does. Basically, when it's still 9 pm on December 31 wherever you are, it'll be in the early morning on January 1st the next year from you in Israel.
However, sometimes they do put things using the Hebrew calendar, which predates the one we use. According to that calendar, the year is 5775; but, the Israelis mostly use the secular one like the USA in day to day basis. The Hebrew calendar is more for religious events.
I'd love to know who told you such ridiculous things.

2015 just happens to be the year on a specific calendar system known as the Gregorian calendar.

Thus, your question can be better asked: Do they use the Gregorian calendar in Israel?
The answer is "yes" as it is a universal standard. They also use the Jewish/Hebrew calendar for which the current year is 5775.

Israel uses our calendar free of charge and shows no gratitude for doing so - very much like the billions of weapons the US taxpayer has given Israel.

Something stinks.
This is not a question a Jew would ask.
Yet you chose a Jewish name.
I don't believe you.
