Is Bell's Palsy Curable? My younger brother has it.?

    In most cases of Bell's Palsy, ma'am, it will clear up by itself, though some doctors do prescribe a corticosteroid, such as prednisolone [prednisone, if you are, in fact, one of my American cousins] which helps to regain full facial movement.

    It's difficult to say how long the Bell's Palsy will affect an individual. With some people it may only be a few weeks, but with others, like my wife, it took months before it cleared up.
