My girlfriend and I want to travel for 7 months after we graduate college next May. I know both our parents will says its reckless and irresponsible, but the way we see it we will never have the chance to drop everything and travel for this extended period of time. Thoughts?

Go for it. You have the rest of your lives to be tied to bills, obligations, and responsibilities. Go on that 7 month adventure. Go for yourselves, and the rest of us that listened to other people and stayed home. Enjoy yourselves. You have one life to live. Have the greatest time of your lives.
