Do you agree that Russell Westbrook ball hogged his way to win the MVP in the East vs West game?

I mean, yeah he lifted the West team to win. But he finished the game with 41 points with only 1 assist. Kevin Durant finished the game with only 3 points.

He had 23 points in 8 mins.

I favor James Harden for having 29 points with 8 assists.

Update:

I have nothing again Westbrook he's an excellent player not to mention a powerful dunker. (but He should watch his dunking, he might end up like Shannon Brown because they both jump so high.) I just thought he could pass more to entertain the fans.

Yeah, I agree that Russell Westbrook hogged his way to win the MVP award. He shot 16 out of 28 of his shots. Averaging 57 percent, which is not bad. But, the amount of shots he attempted was insane. He attempted 28 shots, which was never been done before in an all-star game, which was pretty selfish of him to be honest. And, I also agree that James Harden was the true MVP. He was shooting three after three after three. He had a spectacular shooting performance tonight, which greatly contributed to the win.

Source(s): And, Kevin Durant only scoring 3 points? Russell should've kept passing the ball to Durant.

Taking a lot of shots isn't synonymous with ball hogging. He didn't hold onto the ball without creating offense, it just so happens that most of the shots he created were for himself. But they were all pretty much good shots.

But yeah the guy that scores the most gets the most attention. But there's more to winning than just scoring. Most of the time if you play better basketball, you're going to score more points than the other team, regardless of how many points you actually score.

Often the guy who played the best basketball, or contributed the most to the win, isn't the same guy who scored the most points.

It's annoying how predictable it can be and Harden did have an arguably better game. But Westbrook's game was still pretty darn good.

This is the worst of street ball -- hogging the ball, try not to pass and defense left the arena before the game starts.

Yeah I do think he did but it's nothing serious. It's just the all star game for people to have fun and plus Westbrook almost broke Wilt chamberlain record.

Yes, James Harden shoul've won MVP. Or if Blake played and had the same performance like last year then he would've won
