I have always been a huge star wars fan. I want to learn more about the lore. I have read the wiki and saw some cool stuff that happened inbetween and after the movies. Can I have some book recommendations that happen in between Episode 4-5 or 5-6 and after episode 6? It would mean alot.

Get yourself a Nintendo 64 and go find the Shadows of the Empire video game. If you can blow up IG-88, you are the man. Shadows of the Empire is set between episodes 5 and 6.
